Create a collage for machine embroidery
Machine Embroidery workshop using the artists Julia Chance's work as inspiration
for an abstract piece of work
Jill has got together with artist Julia Chance to look at how she builds on her expertise as an artist.
to create her wonderful works. Julia takes inspiration from the countryside and cities around her Manchester home to create some wonderful paintings.
The workshop is looking at Julia's painting as shown.
We will take inspiration from this work and design and build our own collage to create a piece. Starting with a paper collage and then
using layers of fabric and machine embroidery.
