Create a wonderful reference for embroidery

If you are starting out into the embroidery world I think its great to work some stitch samples. Here are two pieces from my collection. It is something that really helps you to understand how thread, fabric and needle all work together to create a pattern and texture.

Find a good embroidery stitch book and work through it. Think about colours before you start and how each stitch works with the one next to it.

If you don’t understand how to carry out the stitch leave it out..come back to it another time.
